Just great. As if just being a police officer isn't dfficult enough, you've got to go and pull a bonehead move like this. Bad enough you managed to shoot yourself - where it needed to be stopped by your VEST? - now you're going to compound that by saying you were attacked by not one, but two black men? Not only should you lose your job, you should pay restitution for the man-hours required to search for your "assailants". You give all honest, hardworking cops a bad name. Shame on you!

This guy is an idiot and shouldnt be carrying a badge. But i like how the NAACP needs to voice their opinion. I love it when there are thousands upon thouands of black on black/black on white crime and murders, but once one involves white on black there is an uproar. Society today is a joke, people need to stop worrying about everyone else and worry about themselves and their own families.

You should meet some of the so called Law enforcement here in the south......it s a nightmare. They are out of control with temper tantrums, off the chain, endanger men, women and families to make their quotas and love to arrest fairly well spoken well off women falsly giving them little or no time to dress appropriately for jail or get medical help if they have been beaten then lied about by there male abusers....Its a mess. Gestapo nazi techniques used, you lose all you r human dignity and rights and are forced to excreat in mixed male and female company watching and laughing...four letter words ae thrown at you and you are treated as guilty immediately with no assumption of innocense. A real eye opener for this california girl who was attacked in her own home then arrested for calling 911 and trying to keep her assailants from killing her. took help almost two hours to arrive but arrested wrong people doing no rap sheet or background check on the asssailants.....i got to watch them walk away as i sat brain contussed, battered, bleeding, muscles ripped, douible vision, loss of bodily functions and verbally threatened by a 6' 3' mean cop. there is more but why bother, they have the guns....get it?

However, what ou say isn't true..and don't be so quick to judge.I have been discriminated against because of being a woman at times, but I've been the only white worker in more than one work place, or one of about 3..and I was picked on, tormented, cruelly harrassed,and put down.

This happened in california a couple years back and they had hundreds of cops searching for the shooter and standing around talking. They sure do love to stand around and talk. This fourth of july instead of patroling, we saw them taking pictures of fireworks. There were about 4 cars and no one patroling the neighborhood even after we called 911 because the stupid neighbor was shooting fireworks off his roof and over our house. I appreciate the few cops who are honest and don't play that buddy buddy game they all play.

What I am disturbed by is all the gossiping and blaming going on.I should hope the police department in that city doesn't simply fire him, but sees to it he gets some help.Because I know he is far from being the only cop that has become overwrought, or burnt out and yet was sent back out there with his gun -and did more damage.

As 25 year Officer, a life Saving and Valor medal recipient and Corporal who has turn In 3 corrupt officers during my career, whom I testified against in seperate occasions. I can only say very very few Police Officers are corrupt. There are approximately 861,000 police officers and detectives in the United States and only about 1.8 % are bad cops. All you people who claim you don't trust the police will have to move to a State who allows you to carry under permit so you can care for your family and yourself. Now that if you have the GUTS and Stomach for it. But You don't. If you had the Stomach for this type of work you would have joined and help put away the ones the public fears the most long ago.So now there's just one thing to do. Let the COPS police their own which we have done for years now. Let us get the bad apples out and stop your blaming and let them do their JOBS.I don't know where you work or live but I can bet you you have more criminals around you then what we will ever have. Give the Cops A break.

ANGRY, STRESSED, HURT, and OVERBURDENED people usually become VIOLENT. I can see that BLACKS have a SUPER HIGH level of these DAMAGING QUALITIES. It seems reasonable that BLACKS may more apt to physical altercations which can escalate to a violent ending. Yea, but that is only true on a individual level. Black violence is usually a personal or family violence when it does not come from ROBBERY. A single WHITE persons violence can claim 1-1000+ (thousands) lives. A single black persons violence spree HAS claimed 1-40 at most. I DISAGREE with the notion that BLACKS are MORE VIOLENT. By what STAT?

BLACKS are perceived to be more violent because of gang activity. However the gang called KKK is #1 in TERROR in world. lol (should I speak softly, why, life ends when it ends, but defend with all your strength until that day). You guessed it....Are the jails which are overflowing working to correct an solved the crime problem especially when our police are corrupted and not always trustworthy to make correct decisions affecting the common good....the judicial system , the rehab system and the prison system are failures only barely squeaking by with a few reformed felons. It needs a total overhaul. An intelligent modern psychological think tank should be formed pulling best minds from around the world and bringing best studies from around the word of what works best for each type of crime or criminal.

We are losing all the battles on every front against crime in our nation and now we are arresting basically innocent people for money for our empty city and county coffers so our law makers and so called protectors are in essence becoming guilty of collusion against its own citizens and taxpayers. But, we are fat dumb apathetic Americans who would rather watch TV, eat sugar for comfort, drink a lot of booze and enable ourselves to look the other way. Wake up American, these are all warning symptoms of a sick society. PTSD is affecting most of our population if not a veteran recently back from a crazy war front then a abused child from an alcoholic family where dad beat mom or killed mom or vice versa then topped off with racial misbehavior and ridiculous prejudices....... when what we hate are the parts of ourselves that we see in others. All this is mostly a result of no more prayers or spiritualism in schools to give children a foundation of values to live by and the over reaction to parents being able to discipline their children and teach them respect and how to accept responsibility.

I have been noticing from working around our young adults, thoses aged between approx. 30 to 40 missed out on how we were taught in the 1940's and 1950's in our public schools and private about how one must be accountable for our actions and that there are consequences for bothe good and bad actions and behavior. It is as though the affluent society has overly spoiled our kids and now these offspring who are quite wise to the street ways have learned to play the system to benefit themselves either in getting away with lying, a crime, abandoning their family or children or as simple as accidentally discharging your weapon and covering it up by lying...ego ego ego. howz that for discriminating against the guys? haha, after all, the guys like to call out the women as pms'ing, or crazy menopausal or just plain crazy bitches to shift blame from their ( the guy's) own iniquities and insecurities.
