Perry Plans Critical SC Swing
Republican Presidential Candidate Rick Perry is returning to the Palmetto state on Wednesday for a series of campaign stops through Friday
Since jumping into the GOP Presidential Race in August, when he leapt out to an early lead in the polls, Texas Gov. Rick Perry has seen his poll numbers slide largely on weak debate performances.
Now trailing in all the early primary states, Perry is making another push in the Palmetto State beginning this week with a trip that includes several stops in the Lowcountry and Midlands.
Perry returns to South Carolina Wednesday with two stops in Aiken and one in North Augusta.
On Thursday he will start the day with a meet and greet in Lexington at Lizard's Thicket at 9 a.m. before heading to Orangeburg for a meet and greet at noon.
Then at 2 p.m. Perry will be walking Summerville's Main Street starting at Guerin's Pharmacy and talking to business owners and shoppers downtown before heading to Walterboro for a couple of events.

I posted this response on Politico, to a comment qouted by some dimbulb to a story about Mrs. Ward who lost her 22 year old son in Iraq in 2005.
------------
"BTW....has ANY Lib/Dem EVER given Bush credit for 'getting Saddam"? I don't think so, DB..."
Tell me again why we cared if Saddam Hussein was in power in Iraq? 4700 killed, 25K seriously injured (think about all the young men without legs, brain injuries etc), 150K Iraqis killed, 1M displaced to other countries, 1 Trillion $ spent (a lot of that money went to Halliburton, Cheney's former company).
Tell me again it was all worth it - nonsense. GW Bush, Cheney, Rove and Rumsfeld started the war to ensure Bush's reelection in 2004. It backfired on them, they thought it would be a fast, easy war, like Desert Storm, it wasn't. I hope Bush is losing sleep over what he manipulated, thinking of all the American youth without legs. I know Cheney and Rove aren't losing sleep.
And to Mrs. Ward, my sincerest condolences. Your son wanted to serve his country, a noble ambition. But our leaders had another agenda, a callous, unthinking, Neo-Con agenda that none of their son's were going to participate in.
And our media throws "soft-ball" questions to the mediocrities running in Iowa for the Republican nomination. Shame on them.
