Police Searching for Sexual Assault Suspect

Charleston Police are trying to identify the man that sexually assaulted a woman on Bull Street Tuesday morning

Charleston Police are trying to find the man that exposed himself to and then sexually assaulted a woman on Bull Street Tuesday morning.

The assault happened around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday near 24 Bull St., according to a CPD statement.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-30 years old, 5-feet 10-inches to 5-feet 11-inches tall with a medium build, sandy blond hair and blue or hazel eyes.

The victim spotted the man allegedly exposing himself as she walked down Bull Street. After she walked past him he allegedly grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her, according to the statement.

He was last seen fleeing the area west on Bull Street. Charleston Police and College of Charleston Public Safety are investigating.
