Residents of a Gunn Avenue home were held at gunpoint by five armed and masked men just after 11 p.m. Monday, according to a Charleston County Sheriff's Office statement.

The men, all wearing masks and gloves, entered the home on Gunn Avenue, assaulted the residents and took a pair of cell phones. No serious injuries were reported in the home invasion and none of the occupants sought medical treatment following the assault, according to the statement.

Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the attack and track down the suspects.
