Opportunities abound in the shopping center at the intersection of Wappoo Road and Ashley River Road.

Several retail spots in the center are available and waiting for new tennants. Consign Charleston anchors the center in a large space that held a Sofa Superstore and a Food Lion in the past. Other neighbors in the center include a dry cleaner/laundry, a Chinese restaurant and a DMV office.

The shopping center sits at a busy intersection in the heart of the West Ashley area that promises plenty of traffic and visibility for anyone moving in, and recent upgrades to the exteriors in the center show the owners are interested in attracting new businesses.

So, what do you want to see here?

Best DMV ever right there! I have never had a bad experience at that spot. And got a GREAT photo on my DL.

I would like to see a hunting store with a bow shop. Mainly because that's on my husband's route to and from work, and I know that would make him happy :)

A group where I work was just discussing yesterday how horrible the service at this DMV is! This shopping center is too hard to get in and out of, and while the new paint job makes it look better, it's still very dated looking and needs upgrades - especially in terms of the landscaping. This used to be a beautiful piece of land with grand oaks before they built this awful looking shopping center on it.

We sure miss the Food Lion and the Pharmacy that used to be there.
We took them for granted until they were gone.

A restaurant with a really innovative chef and with children and no-children sections.

"Restaurants". It seems that West Ashley lacks good and fine dining. All I see when I when I drive anywhere in West Ashley are fast food and luncheonettes place and very few GOOD dinner places. yes we have the Red Lobster, OCharleys, Chinese and Japanese, King Street Grill, La Fontana, but truly what else is there. In order to go to dinner somewhere you have to go out of West Ashley to do it. How many time does one have to express this in order for ANYONE to take notice. What a shame !!!!
