Our program focuses on building character and developing physical skills in a fun atmosphere. Our objective is to have each student get smarter, get stronger and to have a great time doing it!
Each day, we focus on one of the five school animals (Tiger, Dragon, Leopard, Crane & Snake). Students will be taught new techniques and will learn to understand older techniques from different perspectives. We will also be learning a Kung Fu form. Games and drills will fine tune skills and understanding. Stretching and conditioning will strengthen the body. Each day we will have a story dealing with one of the five school attributes- effort, etiquette, sincerity, character, and self-control.

More About Masters Studios of Self Defense
Masters Studios of Self Defense has been teaching Shaolin Kempo karate, Kung Fu, Jiu-jitsu and Tai Chi to Charleston residents of all ages and abilities since 1984. Both private and group lessons are available, as well as summer camp. Master Studios of Self Defense also has schools in Mount Pleasant, James Island, Summerville and North Charleston.
