Chicken Salad Chick Finds Home for Franchise in Charleston

Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s newest, fast-casual restaurant concept, officially announced today the location of their franchise in Charleston. The new restaurant will be located at 82 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29401.

“We have been enormously blessed with franchisees who share our passion for the Chicken Salad Chick concept and want to grow it in their communities,” said Kevin Brown, president of Chicken Salad Chick. “By year’s end, we will have restaurants in numerous cities throughout Southeast, including Charleston.”

The Charleston restaurant, opening in early 2014, is owned by franchisees Grace Foerster of Coastal Bites, LLC.  “I can’t wait to introduce my favorite lunch spot to the people of my favorite city,” Grace said. “I fully expect the people of Charleston to fall in love with Chicken Salad Chick as quickly as I did.”

“Kevin and I have been overwhelmed with the desire for people find a home for Chicken Salad Chick in their own communities,” said Chicken Salad Chick Founder Stacy Brown. “It is so encouraging that our own customers want to share our concept and passion with those in their area.”

 “The Charleston location is perfect for us to showcase our brand to both our loyal customers who have been waiting for us to come to town and those who have yet to enjoy the Chicken Salad Chick experience,” said Kevin Brown. “This location, along with our other stores opening throughout the next year, represent a very exciting time in the young life of our company.”
