Professional Services Group appoints new executives

Charleston, S.C., — Robert Berman, CEO of Professional Services Group announces the promotion of Amy Bates to Chief Operations Officer and Director of Accounting and the hiring of Sandy Petrowski as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Consulting Services.

            Bates who has worked for the firm for seven years, holds an accounting degree from Trident Technical College and is a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. A Chico, California native, Bates resides in the West Ashley area.

            Petrowski, former Controller at First Federal Bank in Charleston, earned her Master of Business Administration at the University of Michigan where she also gained her bachelor’s degree in finance. Prior to moving to Charleston, she was First Vice President and Director of External Reporting for Citizens Bank in Michigan. Petrowski also lives in the West Ashley area.
