Burglar Breaks in on Kids Waiting for School Bus

Armed burglar tosses house for valuables in early morning break-in.

A burglar armed with a gun stormed in on two West Ashley children waiting for a school bus, according to police.

It happened around 8 a.m. as the two children were waiting inside their home for the school bus, police said. A man entered the home through an open window. The unidentified suspect tossed the house looking for money or valuables and then left.

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties with a short haircut. He was 6 feet tall and weighed roughly 130 to 150 pounds, police said.

The subject was wearing a plain black T-shirt, faded black jeans and black shoes, police said.
