Trio of Suspects Charged in Madagascar Court Burglary

Three teens have been charged in connection with a July 30 burglary in West Ashley.

The Charleston Police Department has filed charges against three men in connection with a burglary at a West Ashley home.

Harold Edward Williams II, 19, of Greggs Landing, North Charleston, Phillip Daniel Jewell II, 19, of Quail Hollow CourtNorth Charleston and Ahshaad Owens, 18, of Chatham Avenue, Hanahan, have all be charged with burglary 2nd degree and grand larceny, according to a CPD statement.

The men are accused of kicking open the rear door of a Madagascar Court residence and stealing a laptop computer, an iPad, jewelry and a pair of digital cameras on July 30, according to the statement.
