Jim Clyburn's DNC Speech Rescheduled For Thursday

The South Carolina congressman was squeezed by a large lineup of Tuesday speakers.

Rep. Jim Clyburn, the South Carolina congressman scheduled to speak Tuesday on the first night of the Democratic National Convention, was bumped by a busy lineup.

Instead, the state's only Democratic representative told Patch that he will speak around 8:30 p.m. Thursday, the final day of the convention.

Thursday's events will take place at the Charlotte Panthers football stadium, and will be highlighted by President Barack Obama.
