Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is a historic site and event center, and also one of the oldest public gardens in America. Its attractions include its "From Slavery to Freedom" tour, plantation house, boat tour, nature train and boat tours, the Audubon swamp and a petting zoo. It's open year-round and is a great place for a wedding ceremony or a corporate retreat.

Hands down this is my favorite. I actually think it is best in the Spring as is most of Charleston. Everything is growing, fresh and new. The cycle of life is shown through plants as well as animals.
