All the items on Triangle Char & Bar's Avondale Restaurant Week menu except the desserts are infused with alcohol

With the success of the first Avondale Restaurant Week in February, Triangle Char & Bar was thrilled to do it again. "Ours is a bit of a drunken menu," Misty Wilder, a manager at Triangle said. "We use alcohol in all the dishes except the desserts." While Triangle is known for its burgers and a Southern style infusing all its dishes, the restaurant wanted to give its customers something a little different for the promotional week. "We have a great local clientele anyway, so it's a way to give back to them as well," Wilder said. With a 3-course meal for $20, customers get a break on the normal menu price for an appetizer, main course and dessert, Rountree said. With five appetizers, seven main courses and two dessert options, he said the idea is to give customers a wider range of choices than most of the downtown restaurants offer during Charleston Restaurant Week.
