About Michael
Born in Augusta, GA, Michael has lived in the Charleston area since graduating from Ohio University in 1973. He currently lives with his wife Cynthia on Camerton Street where he works from home as a full-time artistic photographer.
Michael has worked in retailing, defense contracts, insurance as well as property management and administrative support. He recently gave up his job working in the French Quarter to pursue a full-time career as a photographer.
His photographic work can be seen on http://kaynardphotography.webs.com. His work is also available for sale at Hamlet Gallery, 7 Broad Street, Ingram Fine Art and Antiques, 111 Church Street, Stephen Kasun Gallery of Art, 113 Church Street as well as the Preservation Society of Charleston, 147 King Street. In Orangeburg his work is available at Attic Framing.
Examples of his work are also hanging in Embassy Suites, 137 Meeting Street, Juanita Greenberg's, Mt. Pleasant, Sojourn Coffee, Hwy. 171 , West Ashley, Wild Dunes Links Clubhouse, Isle of Palms, Bluerose Cafe, Hwy. 61, Olde North Charleston Meeting Place (art co-op), E. Montague St. Fridays and Saturdays, Graze, Mt. Pleasant.
He will be doing a show at Alchemy Coffee in August 2012.
